THE LEGEND ABOUT ZEUS FABER...

...what ZEUS FABER means

Most of our clients have been asking on the origin of our company name and what is the connection between a fish and event management.

Apart from that we like this fish, we were attracted by its translation typical for us:
ZEUS the God artistic, creative and hard-working.

You can also see dark mark on the belly of the fish reminding a target.
It means that "You always meet your goals with us!".

The legend about the fish is also very interesting. Zeus Faber (the fish) is in most countries, mainly around Mediterenean see, called "the fish of St. Petr", in English John Dory (probably from the italian name Janitore). The Czech name is trully funny "Pilobřich ostnitý", in literary translation it could be Saw-belly Spine and we have no clue where this could come from...

The legend says:
Jesus had to pay a cathedral tax and said to Simon (later St. Peter): "Go to the sea, start fishing and the first fish you catch will have a coin in its mouth. Take the coin and bring it to the cathedral as a tax".

And so St. Peter did and that´s why we could see the dark marks on both sides of the bidy of the fish, St. Peter´s fingertips.
